Origami Science: Frog

Combine the hands-on fun of origami with the wonder of learning about biology in this unique four-part group course. Students who sign up for this course will receive an exciting course book to be used during class filled with fun activities, fun facts, and more! Students will also receive the special Frog Dissection Origami Model book that consists of the fantastic 3D origami model that students will create and use during our dissection classes!

Origami Science: Honey Bee

Did you know bees flap their wings 200 times a second? Or that bees are responsible for a third of the world's food supply? Wow! Students will learn all about bees while making their own model honey bee!

Origami Science: Volcanoes

While making their own origami volcano models, students will learn about the external and internal structure of a volcano and will discuss the different types of volcanoes that exist. Students will go onto talk about famous volcanoes and how they have impacted the planet we live on. Lastly, students will learn about the environmental and ecological impacts of volcanic eruptions, and will further discuss how these eruptions have shaped many of the landforms we see today.

Origami Science: Triassic World

Combine the hands-on fun of origami with the wonder of learning about the rise of the dinosaurs in this unique four-part group course. Did you know that dinosaurs first appeared during the Triassic Period? Or that the Triassic Period started with an extinction event that wiped out 95% of life on Earth? Wow! Students will learn all about this exciting period in history, all while making their own origami Triassic World landscape.

Origami Science: Earthquakes

These courses consists of learning about our Earth and the amazing processes that make it what it is! Students will get to learn a variety of topics such as volcanoes, earthquakes, water cycle, carbon cycle, waterfalls, climate change and much more!

Origami Science: Cell Structure

In this course, students combine the hands-on fun of origami with the wonder of learning about life science. While making their own origami models, students will learn about the basic unit of all life: the cell! Students will see how different organisms have different types of cells, all with varying roles and functions. Students will then enter the tiny world inside the cell to see how things happen at the microscopic level.
