Course Overview

About Global Citizenship Program

At Global Step Academy, we want to enable our students to be effective contributors to the global community. Our goal is to provide young leaders with the knowledge, skills, and values to shape a positive future for our planet. We focus on the core values of responsibility, collaboration, social awareness, self-awareness, and empowerment. Students explore a variety of topics within STEAM, to develop and build real-world skills around observation, curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, communication and collaboration, empathy, and sustainability.

Global Citizenship: Social Awareness (Beginner Level)

In this course, students focus on building skills around social awareness and personal responsibility that will enable them to become effective global citizens.  Students will learn all about human health and immunology, while also exploring global health issues.  With this knowledge, students will complete hands-on STEAM projects, connecting concepts learned in class to the real world.
